OUT_OF_ENERGY: why your USDT transfer fails

Four causes, each with a different fix.

The transaction reached a block, ran out of energy and reverted. Your USDT is untouched. The burned TRX is not.

Retrying changes nothing and burns TRX again. What you need is energy on the sending address: 65,000 if the recipient holds USDT, 131,000 if not.

Get energy

Energy on the sending address in seconds. The bot quotes the price before you pay.

Four causes

  1. No energy and little TRX. Burning costs about  TRX per transfer. Hold less and the transaction dies.
  2. Less energy than this transfer needs. You took 65,000 and the recipient has never held USDT: creating a balance record costs roughly double.
  3. Fee limit set too low. It is a ceiling on TRX spend, not an amount. Set below the real cost, it cuts execution off yourself.
  4. Energy on the wrong address. The sender pays: delegation has to land on the wallet you send USDT from.

The fix, in four moves

  1. Open your address on Tronscan and read the energy balance.
  2. Check the recipient: holds USDT — 65,000; does not — 131,000.
  3. Rent that amount for an hour.
  4. Raise the fee limit to 30–100 TRX and send again.

In TronLink the fee limit hides in the advanced send settings. Raising it is safe: it is a ceiling, not a charge.

Why not just top up TRX?

That works, and it costs  TRX instead of  TRX. Burning is the network’s emergency rate, not the market price of the resource.

Errors that look the same

OUT_OF_BANDWIDTH is the other resource and costs a fraction of a TRX.
REVERT with no mention of energy means the contract refused; renting will not help.

Delivery

What a delivery looks like

Four moments, none of which needs an account, a wallet connection or a support ticket.

01

You pay

TRX or USDT TRC-20 from your own wallet, to the address the bot shows.

02

Energy lands

It is delegated straight to the address you named, in seconds.

03

The transfer goes through

Your USDT moves. Energy is spent instead of TRX being burned.

04

One hour later it is gone

The delegation expires by itself and returns to us. Nothing to cancel.

An hour is the whole product: the energy is needed only while the transaction is in the block, and you never pay for time you do not use.
  • No KYCnobody asks for documents
  • No registrationno email, no password, no account
  • Receipt on-chaina txid for every delivery, visible on Tronscan

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do I get the burned TRX back?

No. The network executed the code up to the point where the resource ran out, and that work is paid for.

I rented energy and still get the error. Why?

Three usual reasons: the energy went to the wrong address, the amount does not cover an empty wallet, or the fee limit is too low.

Can this happen on a plain TRX transfer?

No. Sending TRX calls no contract and needs no energy.

Skip the reading, take the energy

Pick an amount, give an address, pay in TRX or USDT. Then send your transfer.
